Brand photography services and coaching by Kevin Titus

Hi, I’m Kevin

I first picked up a camera in 2014. At the time I was working in the mental health field as a counselor and was looking for a creative outlet to help me unwind and compartmentalize work from my personal life.

I found that I had a knack for shooting portraits in particular. After a year or so, people started asking me how much I charged to take their photos. I made decent money with photography as my side business in 2016 and it inspired me to take it more seriously as a viable career path. In 2017, I earned more with photography than I did at my job at the time, so I knew it was time to take the leap into full-time self-employment.

You can build a thriving six-figure photography business while remaining true to who you are as an artist and person.

It's possible to make good money in this field without "selling your soul" or working tirelessly every night and sacrificing your personal life. I think what sets me apart the most is that I'm transparent with my success and failures and I love helping others who are trying to break into the field or take their business to the next level.

Achieving success requires two things: doing great work and getting noticed.

While there's plenty of information out there on the technical aspects of photography, there's a lack of practical content on the art of building your brand.

  • Who is your audience?

  • How do you find your customers? (Notice how I wrote "your" customer, not just customers in general.)

  • How do you differentiate yourself from the millions of other photographers out there?

Knowing the answers to these questions means the difference between struggling to stay relevant and growing a thriving business.

I’m here to get that conversation started and to share my journey as a photographer and entrepreneur -- both the things that work and the things that don't.

Whether you're just starting your photography business or you're looking to take your business to the next level, you're in the right place.
